Hello folks! It's been a while!
Despite this project being trapped in a long form hiatus, itch analytics still tells me that people still sometimes play the browser form of this game. First of all, thank you for that kind of support! It warms my heart (and the team's as well).
Because of so many people asking about updates (some even privately asking to have a sneak peek of the source code), I've made a conscious decision to make the source code for Cursed Game freely available! It was always part of the plan to make Cursed Game and it's code free once a 1.0 version came out. I guess there's no harm in releasing it early!
Does this mean Cursed Game is abandoned?
It's sad to say it in that way. I never wanted to stop the project cold. If anything, I'm making the source available to encourage more developments on the game and some day grow a team of interested weirdos who could keep the torch lit.
For personal reasons, development of this project was just not going to happen after September, punctuated by further life situations that made continued development on this side project even harder.
Will this itch page see more developments?
Oh, likely, at least in terms of more games and toys. I haven't made plans, but I have goals to try to make some short form games, possibly in the form of interactive fiction, or a lewd weekend project with code from time to time.
I don't intend to do anything as large as the full CGoCI rogue-like, but I still want to do more with the limb transformation system that is part of this game.

If you are interested in Cursed Game enough that you want to continue it, let me know! I might be slow to respond, but I'd be happy to try to help you get in touch with a team to continue the effort. I might even contribute as I make time to do so!
